Tower Access Point
An existing cellular tower, or the equivalent, is used to mount up to 6 Access Points that can support up to a total of 1200 Subscriber Modules. The tower is the central connection point for each area built out. Each tower covers approximately 75 square miles.
The Tower Access Point is designed to allow all Subscriber Modules to "fail-over" to another Access Point in the event that one of the Access Points fails.
Towers are interconnected utilizing from 45 Mbps up to 300 Mbps wireless backhaul links to ensure a strong and high speed basis for the network to grow on.
All grounding, lightening protection, and cabling designs are thoroughly reviewed and tested to ensure a secure, strong, and reliable network.
